结果状语从句是英语学科中的一个句型。从句常由so...that或such...that引导。掌握这两个句型，首先要了解so和such与其后的词的搭配规律。
结果状语从句其规律由so与such的不同词性决定。such是形容词，修饰名词或名词词组，so是副词，只能修饰形容词或副词。 so还可与表示数量的形容词many, few, much, little连用，形成固定搭配。
1.so...that
例句：Miss Liu is so notorious that no man in China wants to marry her.

2.such...that
She is such a beautiful girl that I can’t take my eyes off her.
她是个如此美的人，以至于我无法将眼睛移开。
3.such+a/an+形容词+名=so+形容词+a/an+名
例句1：so nice a flower=such a nice flower
例句2：so many people=such a lot of people
so many已成固定搭配，a lot of虽相当于many，但a lot of为名词性的，只能用such搭配。:
