英语地点介词如over（在...上面），behind (在...后面)，to (在...范围外)等等。其中有些地点介词的意义比较接近，在用法上很难区分，如on, over, above 都有“在……之上”的意思，但含义却不尽相同。下面我们来具体看一下
1.to：主要表示“在...范围外”，强调不接壤，不相邻。
Japan is to the east of China.日本在中国的东部。
2.above：在...上方（并未强调是不是正上方），与below相对。如：
I live in a flat above the shop. 我住在那家商店上面的一套房子里。
3.over：表示“在...正上方”，与under相对。
There is a big apple hanging over my head. 在我的头顶上，悬挂着一个大苹果。
4.behind：表示“在...后面”。
Behind the building stands a tall tree. 在这栋建筑后面有棵树。
5.between：在...之间（指两者）。
The building stands between the park and the supermarket. 那栋建筑位于公园和超市之间。
