关系副词，兼有副词与连接词两种作用，在不及物动词的连接中要求用关系副词。关系副词主要有三个，即when，where，why。下面让我们看一下when、where、why关系副词的正确使用方法有哪些
1.关系副词when
when在定语从句中用作状语，表示时间，用以修饰表示时间的先行词，如day，year，time等
如：I look forward to the day when we all might see one another again.
我希望我们有一天会再见面。
2.关系副词where
where引导的定语从句，其先行词一般是表示地点的名词，如 place， house等
如：By age fifteen， Monet was well known in the town where he lived for drawing caricatures.
十五岁的时候，莫奈在他以漫画为生的小镇上很有名。
3.关系副词why
why表示原因，一般引导限制性定语从句，先行词通常是 reason等表示原因的名词。
如：Rachel， the reason why I won＇t let you drive the Porsche， is because you＇re a terrible driver.
瑞秋，我不会让你开保时捷，因为你是个很差劲的司机。
