open的基本意思是“开着的、开放的”,作“空旷的,开阔的”时,在句中只充当定语。作“开始营业的、(职位等)空缺的”时,在句中作表语,后面经常跟to或with短语,open在句中还可充当宾语补足语。

6.(衣服) 没扣上的;敞开的
如:Her coat was open.
她的外衣敞着。
7.开阔的;未围上的
如:A city with a lot of parks and open spaces
有很多公园和空地的城市
8.对大众开放的;公开的;人人可以参加的
如:The debate was thrown open to the audience.
辩论会对听众开放。
9.诚恳;坦诚;直率
如:She was always open with her parents.
她总是与父母无话不谈。
